Yes! SubGard stores all your data locally on your device. We never collect, transmit, or store any of your information on our servers. Your subscription data never leaves your phone.
💰 Is SubGard really free?
Absolutely! SubGard is 100% free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no hidden fees. While we accept optional donations, all features are completely free forever.
🔔 How do reminders work?
SubGard sends local notifications before your renewal dates. You can customize the reminder schedule in Settings → Reminder Cadence. Choose from 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days before renewals.
📱 Can I sync across devices?
Currently, SubGard does not support cloud sync to maintain complete privacy. Your data stays only on your device. You can manually export/backup your data from Settings.
🔄 How do I backup my data?
Your subscription data is automatically included in your iPhone's backup (iCloud or iTunes). When you restore your device, SubGard data will be restored with it.
❌ How do I cancel a subscription?
SubGard doesn't cancel subscriptions for you—it reminds you to cancel them yourself. Tap on any subscription to see the cancellation contact (website, email, or phone) stored in the app, then use that to cancel directly with the provider.
📧 Can SubGard scan my email for subscriptions?
No. To protect your privacy, SubGard doesn't access your email, bank accounts, or any external data. You add subscriptions manually, which gives you complete control over what's tracked.
